Gia Jandieri

Gia Jandieri is vice president and founder of New Economic School – Georgia. In 1989 Mr. Jandieri with several friends founded the Association of Young Economists of Georgia – the very first NGO in the Soviet Republic of Georgia whose goal was to eliminate the obligatory study of Marxism at the Tbilisi State University. After several years of working at public offices (parliament, state audit, central election commission) in 2000 he decided to leave the public sector and organize another think-tank with a goal of supporting free market economic education in Georgia and the region.
